Aries Energies and How They Affect Humanity
The power of Aries is summed up in its keynote: I come forth and from the plane of mind, I rule.
Aries is the birthplace of ideas, and a true idea is in reality a spiritual impulse that is taking form within and without.
There are four keynotes in Aries, given symbolically: Express the will to be and do. Unfold the power to manifest. Enter into battle for the highest spiritual life. Arrive at unity through effort
Aries signifies the descent of spirit into matter. It conveys the first ray energy of will and power. These can be destructive or purifying, depending on how they are used. When expressed through an undeveloped personality, it can produce a tyrant or a dictator. The destructive aspects of this ray are readily apparent all around us. But even though the destructive aspects have just about run their course, we are still feeling the effects of this destructive energy as it works out on the physical plane. Destruction paves the way for that which is new and better. Without it there would be no change.
Aries energy can be seen today working out in the movement toward global planning, international relationships, unified blocks taking place in so many areas of the world. Synthesis is expressed as unity on the outer level. It is a reflection of the fact that humanity is moving into fuller cooperation with the Plan. It helps us to move toward reconciliation in all our affairs, because in our quest for peace, we have no other choice. This is a silent demand of the soul.
When this Aries energy is qualified by love and wisdom, it can produce a dynamic and forceful leader.
Aries brings the dynamic nature of God straight through our solar system. It is a fire that fosters and nourishes through its heat and also a fire which burns and destroys. In Aries the jungles of experience are set on fire and dissolved in flames, symbolically speaking. The past stands clear and unobstructed. Vision is achieved. Fire is the great liberator, clearing away obstacles and bringing forth the truth. Aries opens the way for a renewal of life, for a new spiritual living on a higher turn of the spiral. It opens the way to follow the path to resurrection and ascension.
As a fire sign Aries becomes an agent of change, bringing electric fire from our solar system. It is the point of all beginnings, providing an impulsive outgoing and vital energy. Aries is also known as bringing synthesis. It is through the agency of fire that Aries fuses the beginning and the end, blending the opposites as it dispels both time and space. The blending of spirit and matter is achieved through the consecrated use of the mind.
Aries is the birthplace of divine ideas. Each has its beginning under the impulse of Aries. New deas are guided by the first ray of will and power. Aries awakens the will to reincarnate to reach the lowest and there control, to know the uttermost and thus to face all experience.
Aries, therefore, lights the way to the world of manifestation. It has been called the searchlight of the Logos (or God) seeking out that which can be used for divine expression. The light of Aries, which is light itself, seeks out the light in the very center of all forms and stimulates them into action. Such forceful activity is often apparent to those souls born in the sign of Aries.
From the Cosmic Christ to the historical Christ to the Christ in the human heart, there is one descending pathway of sacrificial love. It is the same pathway to which we make our ascent to the Father. It is the pathway that leads us to The One.
That which the divine in human experience has served to reveal the truth to us. It cannot die. It is essentially immortal and must be lived because it is the essence Self. This is the true spirit of resurrection and must be restored in human consciousness.
Meditation Thoughts for the Aries Full Moon
Take the time to create a sacred space and spiritually align your energies. When you have achieved this, imagine your connection to the guiding light of the Spiritual Hierarchy. Feel their loving support for you and all of humanity. Know that many others are also creating and experiencing this connection to the Enlightened Ones. This alignment creates a unity between humans in physical form and the Great Ones in Spirit. There is a feeling of being home and being whole. Unanimity is experienced and embodied in your heart.
While still experiencing and embodying Unanimity, at the time of the full moon, tune to and become receptive to the emanations of the star Dubhe (a pointer star in the Big Dipper) Allow its energies to enter your crown chakra (the top of the head) and flow into your heart, where the quality of the Great Ones and the Principle of Unanimity reside. Imagine, feel, experience this inflow and build up of energy within you.
A time will come during this meditation when the energy in your heart will naturally want to radiate out. At that time direct this energy, the love aspect of the Divine Purpose, onto our planet. Know that others are also creating this outpouring of Love-Wisdom from the heavens to our earth. Your intuition will let you know when this meditative process is complete. At its end say these words, "May the greatest good come forth." Relax now and make this full moon day a day of spiritual retreat and integration. Empty your mind and stay aligned with the Great Ones.
Suggested Meditation during the 5 day period of Aries energies at the full moon.
In spiritual tradition the full moon phase is a five-day period. You may want to observe this cycle. The two days before the full moon are the days of approach and preparation. These are days of spiritual reflection and alignment. The day of the full moon is the most auspicious day. It is a time of spiritual retreat and contact, a time to still the mind and maintain inner peace. The two days following the full moon are the days of distribution, when the contacted energies are released into human consciousness … the days our attention is steadily turned away from ourselves and the inner subjective planes to the outer world.
This meditation is similar to those that will be used worldwide by esoteric groups. If you lead it for a group, be sure to pause between each step, and especially when the meditation on the seed thought begins.
INVOKING THE GREAT LIGHT
1. Begin with affirming the fact of our group fusion within the heart center of the new group of world servers, mediating between Hierarchy and humanity.
"I am one with my group brothers and sisters, and all that I have is theirs.
May the love which is in my soul pour forth to them.
May the strength which is in me lift and aid them.
May the thoughts which my soul creates reach and encourage them."
2. Project a line of lighted energy toward the spiritual Hierarchy of the planet.
3. Extend this line of light towards Shamballa, the center where the will of God is known.
4. Stand as a group within the periphery of the great Ashram of the Hierarchy. Open to the extra-planetary energies now available.
5. Hold your mind in a comptemplative state and open to the Light and Love seeking to find a place on Earth.
6. Reflect on the seed thought: The source and nature of Divine Love
7. Visualize the energies of Light, Love, and the Will-to-Good pouring throughout the planet and becoming anchored on Earth.
8. Say the affirmation:
"In the center of all Love I stand.
From that center I, the soul, will outward move.
From that center I, the one who serves, will work.
May the love of the divine Self be shed abroad,
in my heart, through my group, and throughout the world."
9. Ask to sense more clearly your part in the Plan for the evolution of humanity. Note where you can make the greatest contributions according to the immediate needs of humanity. Visualize the immediate work to be done in establishing the pathway of light for Divine Love to reach the minds and hearts of humanity
10. As you say aloud the Great Invocation, visualize the outpouring of Light, Love and Power from from the spiritual Hierarchy through five physical centers on this planet: These are called the planetary centers.: London, Darjeeling, New York, Geneva, Tokyo-see these cities radiating this powerful energy outward to influence the consciousness of the whole human race.
