Healing Meditation for after the Presidential Election
1. Sit in stillness and invoke the soul. Then open to the soul's finer wisdom, love, and will.
2. Link with the souls of others of goodwill who are visualizing, meditating, or praying for a higher wisdom and love.
3. Imagine yourself in a circle with others who are using spiritual energies to heal.
4. Invoke the greatest forces oflight to use the election results for higher purpose. Visualize a completely new atmosphere ofcooperation emerging between all the people. Create a vision of the future that is radiant with lightand hold that picture in focus.
5. Use the Great Invocation or other world prayer to bring light, love, and powerto humanity for a peaceful world of good will. Throughout the world spiritual workers are joining in invoking help from the highestspiritual forces to work out a civilization ofgood will and world cooperation.
6. Ask for greater light! Invokethe healing force of divine love to stream in your heart and mind, and then into all hearts and minds. Love unitesbeyond the boundaries of groups and beliefs and love is the only remedy!
A deeper purpose exists far beyond whatanyone will see from his or her personality. Realize that criticism, anger, fear, resentment, and anxiety are emotionsthat cloud over every issue. These come only from the lesser light of the personality and they boomerang rightback to the one who sends them out. Youcan observe this tendency in groups, including those with the best of intentions, who do not realize the harm they arecreating in the world.
If you find yourself in judgment,unwilling to cooperate with all groups or political parties, stop and re-connect with the spiritual forces of light.The very moment you make this connection, darker emotions lose their power over you and you can gain a clearervision.
Realize that none of us can possiblyfully understand the underlying crisis that is the real cause of all activity on the physical plane, includingthe war in Iraq. Trying to squelch the symptoms does not work in physical diseases of the body, and it does not workfor physical diseases of our planet.
We are all sharing the pain of a serioushuman disease that has been building for hundreds (if not thousands) of years. The underlying cause of the disease mustbe healed! Only higher spiritual energies can heal it, and only humanity can invoke this aid through an inclusive, heartfeltlove.
It will be through awakened souls withinall religions, all humanists, and everyone of good will working to heal the underlying cause that a completely newatmosphere of cooperation will emerge — not only in our own hearts and minds, but within the political sceneof the U.S. and other nations.
A rare opportunity is right in front of us — to realize the profound healing effect of an inclusive spirit, of joining hands across all party lines, all differences of opinion, and affirm that we will work together using spiritual forces to lift and aid each other and all humanity.
