Golden opportunities are precious. With each step into greater light, you can see more clearly, think with greater wisdom, and act from greater love. Yet when a Golden Opportunity appears, the personality may pull against taking action while the soul light magnetically pulls the disciple toward the opportunity it has presented. If right action is taken, even with fear and trembling from the emotional level, a door inevitably opens to higher consciousness and extended vision.
Meditation helps set the stage for such opportunities to be presented, interpreted correctly and put into use. Knowledge is of small benefit until the test is initiated to put an opportunity into a useful position to reach others. Very often the only way to accept such an opportunity is to give up something else to make the time to use the idea that comes forth. Humanity's tendency is to khold on to the familiar — famliar ways of thinking, of spending time, of relating to others, even if these are not filled with joy and creativity.
Wisdom is gained by putting knowledge into action, perhaps missing the target the first time, and beginning again. Understanding is developed by submitting to the light and the love of the soul long enough each day to see the habit of criticism dissolve as a fog dissolves in the bright sunlight. Compassion grows when the power of the soul prevails over the personality's small viewpoints., its separation from those outside of its "circle". In the same light and power, the experience of compassion for oneself, for one's mistakes, inertia, dead-end side-tracks, and wasted time are forgiven. Compassion has no boundaries between you and others, between us and them, between "that church and this one" between that nationality and this one. All humanity is realized as part of one human family. Compassion goes out to all who suffer, and all humans suffer.
Ask for love and you may find yourself in an uncomfortable situation where love seems impossible. The personality cannot accept others' opinions and ways as correct when they are the opposite of one's own beliefs. Personalities will always feel separated from those who disagree with them. At the same time the soul overshadowing each one feels no separation. It experiences all aspets of the One Human Soul as part of the whole. Like Humpty Dumpty who sat on a wall and had a great fall and broke into many pieces. No one could put Humpty together again. Yet we humans are awakening to the power of the soul to recognize its six and a half billion parts and reunite with them again.
This is the great transformation that humanity is going through now, from the age-long separation, distrust, suspicion, and fighting to finally accepting the truth of the immortal Self, the true Self, that which is divine.
