A COLOR TEST FOR HEALING

Check these colors when you need a boost in vitality or health. Your needs may shift each day. After you read the brief description of that color, apply that color mentally, use a fabric of that color or a transparent color gel set it in front of you. Sit with it in the direct sunlight over your face, chest, or back. Use crayons or paints and draw with this color. Wear clothes of this color.

In our solar system all colors emanate from one primary color that veils cosmic love and wisdom. The cosmic ray of indigo is this primary color. This indigo then splits into three major colors and then divides into four minor colors, making the seven colors of the spectrum. There are many hues of healling colors, depending on the vibration of the color. These colors are among the basic esoteric healing agents that the healing angels embody.

Choose a color combination below for healing.

The color you choose is the most healing for you right now, either mentally, emotionally, or physically. Imagine this color as liquid light flowing over your head and body. As this color flows into you, it brings the energy of the healing angels associated with the color you are using.

Two Ways To Apply Color for Healing

1. On the subtler planes by the power of thought.

2. With colored lights applied to the physical body.

What lies ahead to be mastered is more knowledge about the etheric body, the study of the effect of different colors on the dense physical plane, and how to use color to build pure bodies.

Certain colors will definitely affect certain diseases, cure certain nervous troubles, eradicate certain nervous tendencies, build new tissues, and burn out (cellular) corruption. You can also experiment in vitalizing and magnetizing the body with color. This involves direct action on the subtle etheric body that interlaces the physical body. We are told that this knowledge is found hidden in the law of vibration and color. That certain colors have a definite effect is sure. "A second discovery will grow out of the present investigations as to light and color. The effect of color on people, animals and units in the vegetable kingdom will be studied and the result of those studies will be the development of etheric vision or the power to see the next grade of matter with the strictly physical eye. Increasingly will people think and talk in terms of light, and the effect of the coming developments in this department of human thought will be triple" (Cosmic Fire by A.B., p. 334.)

C. W. Leadbeater in "Inner Life," Vol. 1, page 447-460 describes the colours and petals of each energy center in the human as follows:

1. The base of the spine, four petals. These petals are in the shape of a cross, and radiate with orange fire.
2. The solar plexus, ten petals rosy color with admixture of green.
3. The heart centre, twelve petals glowing golden.
4. The throat centre, sixteen petals of a silvery blue, with blue predominating.
5. The head centre in its twofold divisions:
a. Between the eyebrows, consisting of ninety-six petals, one-half of the lotus being rose and yellow, and the other half blue and purple.
b. The very top of the head. A centre consisting of twelve major petals of white and gold, and nine hundred and sixty secondary petals arranged around the central twelve.

When your body is purified and its energies rightly directed, and when the rhythm of the soul is achieved, a radiant life is created. This works out literally as the life currents are directed by the soul through your nervous system and circulatory system. At this point only the purest atoms and colors will be built into your body. The result will be a shining forth of light through your entire being. Not only will your head be radiating light so that a clairvoyant sees a halo or circle of brilliant colors, but all of the body will be irradiated by the vibrant centers of electrical force distributed throughout the body.

As we achieve this level of purity, we have a sense of completion, satisfaction and joyous expectancy. We see the world in a new light; circumstances take on a happier coloring. Emotions feel calm and reflect the higher light.
